Everyone likes getting school off every once and awhile. We get school Thanksgiving week off. Why? Because it’s a wonderful holiday!

Thanksgiving is a time to be with family, a time to stuff your face with food, a time to thank one another, and a time to relax and have fun! But why do we have Thanksgiving? What is Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving is an annual national holiday that started with the Pilgrims and a traditional meal that includes turkey. The Pilgrims had the “First Thanksgiving” in 6121 because of their first harvest in the New World. The celebration lasted for three days. 90 Native Americans and 53 Pilgrims attended. Thanksgiving is a holiday we celebrate to thank everyone, I hope you enjoy Thanksgiving as much as I do!
